Opened in 1992, the Citypark Nicaragua Hotel is the emblem of the Citypark hotel chain and has been lauded for its design, comfort, simplicity and functionality. It is housed in a strikingly modern building. The lobby is decorated with pink and green marble floors, while bold colours and strong angles make the other public areas unique. The lobby also features a wood-panelled reception desk and leather settees. The 80 guestrooms are stylishly appointed, with cool grey and white décor, contemporary dark wood furnishings and large wooden art deco headboards fitted with individual lighting. The en suite bathrooms are tiled, with marble sinks, large mirrors and chrome fittings. National and international dishes are served in the contemporary surroundings of the "Zeppelin Restaurant", where guests can dine al fresco in fine weather. Pre- dinner drinks are available in the marble-floored "Maximillian Lobby Bar".
