The hotel breakfast is superb and not to be missed. There was an unbelievable selection of food and drink available. Also the opening time of 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. on a Saturday and Sunday ensures that everyone can enjoy it. The dining room was spotless and the staff very friendly and efficient.
Top Tip
My son and I were only there for a short weekend to see Barcelon play but would recommend everyone to take the tour of the Stadium and Museum - not to be missed.

I requested a non smoking room prior to travel. On arrival the reception staff had a lengthy discussion before handing over our room keys. Once in our "smoking room" it became apparent that the discussion was whether just to give us a smoking room because they had over booked non smoking rooms. They never had the decency to tell us they were allocating us a smoking room!
It would be great if the staff could smile a bit more too. Be firm with them and they will accomodate you. Most of them seemed to be really unhappy.
Get down to breakfast early if you wnat to eat hot food otherwise it will be lukewarm.
Top Tip
Great place to stay for transportation as the hotel is directly above the main train/metro station. Check out prices of food/drink before eating out - eapecially in La Ramblas where I bought my most expensive beer ever in a country where beer used to be cheap.

Not centrally located for tourists but directly above the main Sants railway station with connections to everywhere locally and further afield.
Top Tip
The hotel restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. No need to look further.
